Due to personal reasons, for the time being, I shall be celebrating Women in Horror Month online, discussing the work of the incredible women I have encountered over the years and looking to what the future looks like for women working in horror. Jennifer xo

"Jennifer’s Bodies is a roving annual festival of female-helmed horror movies and part of Women In Horror Recognition Month, an international assortment of affiliated events organised partly to highlight just how much women can and do contribute to the genre outwith the typically accepted factors of tits, ass and mezzosoprano screaming." A Floresta das Alma Perdidas or The Forest of the Lost Souls

Here at Jennifer's Bodies, as well as supporting the amazing women working within horror....I love to bring you films where men and women work within collaboration with each other, creating amazing films.  One example of such a collaboration are José Pedro Lopes and Ana Almeida.  These two fellow X Philes are fucking awesome, and over the years I have screened three of their shorts, A Noiva/The Bride, Survivalismo and M is for Macho.

It brings me great pleasure to be able to bring you a world exclusive with a preview of their new film, A Floresta das Alma Perdidas or The Forest of the Lost Souls.

Go LIKE Anexo 82 Produções to keep up to date with the wicked stuff these two outstanding filmmakers are up to.  :)
